Do You Really Need Insurance?

Most people are MISINFORMED about INSURANCE
and worst others are UNINFORMED about its IMPORTANCE.
 Bob Proctor

Do you really need insurance? If you have INCOME REPLACEMENT or IR you DON”T need insurance.
How to get the IR?

Formula: Monthly Income x 12 x 10
Example: Php 20,000 x 12 x 10 = 2.4 Million Php
INCOME REPLACEMENT: 2.4 Million Php

It simply means that if you have Income Replacement which amounts to 2.4 Million Pesos you don't need to buy insurance. The BIG question is, "Do you have this amount RIGHT NOW? If your answer is NOT YET you better procure your own insurance policy.

Here are the reasons... WHY???

1. While we build our wealth we should get PROTECTION. Insurance will not only protect us but also our family especially in times of sickness, untimely death, disability and it protects our properties.

2. Insurance is a GREAT investment. Why? When a person dies all his savings and properties will be subject to 20% ESTATE TAX but Insurance is EXCLUDED. It is not subject to PROBATE therefore the beneficiaries or the family can get the money right away. What a wise investment!!!

The truth is we need insurance. Why? Insurance is the main investment instrument
that we can use to protect our other investments.

Pesos and Sense INSURANCE

3. Insurance with investment is a good investment vehicle to compound your money. You are not only protected or secured but at the same time you will enjoy the compounded interest of your money when your policy matures.

Do you really need INSURANCE? The answer is YES!!!

Financial Literacy towards Financial Freedom

“The worst thing you can ever do to yourself is make yourself run out of TIME and MONEY.” These words from Robert Kiyosaki reverberate in my mind. Time and money are great allies, these are factors that affect financial success. When you delay investing you are wasting the great opportunity to be financially independent at the earliest possible time.
I can’t help but laugh at the same time pity people who adamantly refuse to be financially literate. As T. Harv Ecker elaborated in his bestselling book “The Secret of the Millionaire Mind”, he said the RICH people learn how money works and they make money work hard for them. But the POOR people are reluctant to learn about finances and they work hard for money. Ecker said he can tell people’s financial status through the way they think and talk about money. Whenever he invites people to attend his seminars some would profusely refuse and say “I don’t need it!” or “I don’t want to be rich!” these people are broke financially!!!
Rich people spare time and money to procure financial literacy. They attend seminars about finance and investing which help them accumulate wealth. Rich people learn how money works. They are Learn-It-All people no wonder they are rich while most of the poor people are Know-It-All.
The law of learning says we have to be open to learning. Each person we meet every day of our life can teach us something IF ONLY we are open-minded and willing to learn. Try your financial IQ. Do you have updated financial knowledge? I feel very sad whenever I meet people who would still save their money in the bank. Bank is a great place where you can put your emergency or expenses fund but NOT for Retirement Fund.

Why we need to invest for retirement fund? Not forever we have the strength to work hard to support our families and love ones. Time will come strength will desert our tired and work-worn body, what will you do especially if you are not financially independent??? Where will you get some money to support your needs when you get old??? Just an update: Homes for the aged are already crowded!!!
As OFWs we need to be protected. We need to procure some insurance. We can’t tell something unpleasant could happen to us and what will happen to our beloved family who depend on us? If we really love our family we need to protect ourselves. At the end of the month companies pay their workers or employees. We work hard thus we have to practice PAY YOURSELF. Save some little amount and invest for insurance or health care. Take 20% of your salary for your retirement fund. 10% for God through tithing and live on 70%. Is it hard? Yes, but better to experience hardship now than on your old age. SSS, Pag-ibig etc. are good but there are better investments than that. Diversify… don’t put all eggs in one basket. There are more things to learn. Ask financial literate people, read books and attend seminars about finance.
Why walk if you can ride to wealth? There are so many investment vehicles wherein you can invest your hard-earned money with low risk but high rates of returns. With just few thousands of pesos you can fund yourself towards financial freedom. Investing every month for a long term takes a lot of discipline but it will pave the way towards financial independence. To learn more about different investment vehicles come and learn this coming March 12 and 13, 2011. Attend the FREE FINANCIAL LITERACY SEMINAR here in Bangkok. For more details see schedule below. Change Begins with Choice

My emails are teemed with great stuffs that I really love to share. Sharing to you guys, Jim Rohn's words of wisdom from his newsletter.

Any day we wish, we can discipline ourselves to change it all. Any day we wish, we can open the book that will open our mind to new knowledge. Any day we wish, we can start a new activity. Any day we wish, we can start the process of life change. We can do it immediately, or next week, or next month, or next year.We can also do nothing.

We can pretend rather than perform. And if the idea of having to change ourselves makes us uncomfortable, we can remain as we are. We can choose rest over labor, entertainment over education, delusion over truth, and doubt over confidence. The choices are ours to make. But while we curse the effect, we continue to nourish the cause. As Shakespeare uniquely observed, “The fault is not in the stars, but in ourselves.” We created our circumstances by our past choices. We have both the ability and the responsibility to make better choices beginning today. Those who are in search of the good life do not need more answers or more time to think things over to reach better conclusions. They need the truth. They need the whole truth. And they need nothing but the truth.

We cannot allow our errors in judgment, repeated every day, to lead us down the wrong path. We must keep coming back to those basics that make the biggest difference in how our life works out. And then we must make the very choices that will bring life, happiness and joy into our daily lives.
And if I may be so bold to offer my last piece of advice for someone seeking and needing to make changes in their life: If you don’t like how things are, change it! You’re not a tree. You have the ability to totally transform every area in your life. And it all begins with your very own power of choice.

So do you want to be financially free??? It's time to choose and change. Make a choice now and start your journey to financial freedom. Begin by attending seminars. Educate yourself and learn how to make money work for you. We should be always open to learning so come and learn for free. There's a Financial Literacy Seminar to be conducted by International Marketing Group, IMG on March 10-15 here in Bangkok. No final venue yet I will just keep you all posted. If you are interested feel free to email me, I'll be very happy to hear from you guys.

By the way I'm so happy Sir Benjie said he told Bo Sanchez about the financial literacy seminar here in Bangkok. Gosh, he will post this in his blog, isn't that great? I'm so happy and excited hope to see him soon.

Do You Plan to Fail or You Fail to Plan?

New Year is always a time of reflection and planning. So have you planned for this year's goals and dreams yet? Most people don't plan to fail but most of the time they fail to plan. What are your plans this year?  Do you want something better this 2011? What do you want to achieve? Write your goals or plans and be specific about it. It is not a plan unless you have written it on a piece of paper.

Every new year reminds us that one year will be added to our age. Are you planning for your retirement? Are you funding or investing for your own retirement fund without relying on the company where you work right now? Take a look in this X-Curve concept.

When we are young it's time to work hard and think of our retirement age. It's time to plan and invest for retirement fund. Planning for old age is very crucial. Do you have your personal health care and insurance?

I always remember what Robert Kiyosaki said in his book Rich Dad's Guide to Investing, "The worst thing you can do to yourself is run out of both money and time".

While you're still young and have the money, invest for your health care and insurance. It's a very sad and worst thing if you're old and you realized these things are important and regrets can buy you nothing.

Why do we need health care and insurance? As we grow old our physical bodies will deteriorate and it's the time we badly need medicine, check ups, we need money for hospital bills if we get sick.

Health care and insurance are investment products. Seek some advice from people who are experts into these kinds of investment, that's it if you want to invest for your retirement fund.

Be responsible of your own future. Take the journey to financial freedom NOW by procuring your own health care and insurance.

Be blessed!

Investing Resolution for 2011

For this year 2011 my investing resolution is to invest 50% more of what I had invested in 2010.

If I need inspiration in investing all I do is see this wealth calculator and start weaving a dream and do some action to make it into reality.

Courtesy of International Marketing Group, IMG

Do you have your own investing resolution for this year? I hope investing is in your resolution list this 2011. Invest in the stock market or in mutual funds or any other investment products.

How much do you plan to invest every month? And how long to do you plan to invest your money? Always remember the longer you invest the lesser the risk.
Hope you'll be inspired by this guys. Resolve to invest for your own financial freedom this year  and let's journey towards financial freedom.

Be blessed!!!
